What Customers Say About Cake Mania:
Throw in oddball customers who pose unique challenges -- you want to serve Dracula as quickly as possible before he spooks your other customers -- and you have a recipe for hours of fun.A most welcome addition to the PSP library. Each offers slightly different baking equipment or play mechanics to keep things interesting. And keeping things interesting is what Cake Mania does well, with the ability to earn money and buy new equipment to bake faster or keep customers happier while they wait. Cake Mania: Baker's Challenge is a perfect game for the PSP. It's easy to learn, easy to pick up and put down, and very involving. It's also a great value: there are three different versions of the game here, the original Cake Mania, Back to the Bakery, and Baker's Challenge.
it just kills your speed. you'll end up clicking on the froster several times to get your cursor back. i really wish they'd push out a patch for this. It's the same game you can download on your PC or play on many flash sites (which is why i got it, i love those games).I do find it more challenging with the psp controls, however i have noticed one annoying bug. often, when you chain commands you will lose the cursor when you try to frost a cake.
This is a manic mode where you must try and last as long (and score as high) as possible. I prefer the "arcade" style of control but both work really well. This is a great version of the classic Cake Mania game, perfect for the PSP. The controls are great. A great buy. Not only does it include Back to the bakery (which used to be an extra purchase) but it now includes a "sandbox" mode where you can define everything in the level and test your skills. The best thing though is the new Bakers Challenge mode.
